Arcadia Falls

Carol Goodman has a new book coming out on March 9th.  If it is as good as all her others, Arcadia Falls promises a good read that you will not be able to put down.

Her first book, The Lake of Dead Languages, about a Latin teacher who returns to her old school to solve a Gothic murder mystery –  got me hooked.  Goodman actually did teach Latin.

From there, I read all of Goodman’s books – The Seduction of Water, The Drowning Tree, The Ghost Orchid, The Sonnet Lover, and The Night Villa – all good choices for book club discussions, by the way.   The Seduction of Water won the Dashiell Hammett Prize awarded annually by the International Association of Crime Writers.

Murders, ghosts, secrets – Goodman delivers – watch for it.
