Reading in the Tub

Is this what Diana Gabaldon had in mind for Jamie’s bath? When I spotted this in my room at the B&B in Utah, “Outlander” immediately came to mind.

And the tub is not just pretty to see; it works.

  1. Reminds me of a friend’s bath in Kirkby-Oberblow in England. We stayed there 19 years ago and I haven’t thought of that big bath in years!
Oh, and I’ve finished book 7 and have bought myself book 8 on my Kobo as a treat ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Those tubs work just fine, although I wouldn’t want to have to clean one. I experienced a similar tub at an inn in Maine. I had just come from a Windjammer cruise — fun, but water for washing was minimal — and I stretched out full length with room to spare.
