What would happen if sunspots interrupted all electronic communication – just for a day?  No television, no phone coverage, no email, no social media, and to play Scrabble you’d have to dig out the old board.  No news of children falling off roller coasters, climbers arrested off a skyscraper, political candidates plying their latest lies…
